Obama's new Attorney General, Eric Holder, has already said this is one of his major issues.

Health Care is an Unconstitutional Fraud.

As representatives of the people both Democrats and Republicans represent you as constituents. They are, by oath of office, to uphold the Constitution of the United States.

This entire health care bill, no matter how much good or bad that is in it, is a violation of the representatives oath of office as well as being in direct violation of the reason for the existence of the Federal Government.

The full extent for the existence of the Federal Government of the United States is the protection of the inalienable rights, freedoms and liberties of the people or citizenry.

This Bill is in gross violation of those rights, freedoms, and liberties, thus, is at odds with the intents of the Constitution, and as such, has no foundation in the Constitution. This bill limits rather than protects those rights, freedoms and liberties.

You do not read a bill only for what it says it will do, but for the evil that it can do. People press every limit in a bill. But this bill or any like it is in direct violation of the reason for the existence of the Federal Government of the United States.

This REASON for the existence of our Federal Government is found in the Declaration of Independence, which says:

WE hold these Truths to be self-evident, that all Men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness -- That to secure these Rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just Powers from the Consent of the Governed, that whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these Ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its Foundation on such Principles, and organizing its Powers in such Form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness.

That is the reason for government, and the Constitution is the principles or laws, by which, those unalienable rights are to be secured. Any law which takes away or limits those rights undermines the very reason for the existence of the Federal Government.

Read the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution and the Bill of Rights. And for further reading study the writings of the Founding Fathers of our nation. This will let you know why our nation was founded and why our Federal Government has its existence.

Here’s a thought to warm some of your hearts….

Hi Yanks, I thought you all would like to see the real figures from Down Under.

It has now been 12 months since gun owners in Australia were forced by a new law to surrender 640,381 personal firearms to be destroyed by our own government, a program costing Australia taxpayers more than $500 million dollars.

The first year results are now in:
Australia-wide, homicides are up 6.2 percent,
Australia-wide, assaults are up 9.6 percent;
Australia-wide, armed robberies are up 44 percent (yes, 44 percent)!

In the state of Victoria alone, homicides with firearms are now up 300 percent. (Note that while the law-abiding citizens turned them in, the criminals did not and criminals still possess their guns!)

While figures over the previous 25 years showed a steady decrease in armed robbery with firearms, this has changed drastically upward in the past 12 months, since the criminals now are guaranteed that their prey is unarmed.

There has also been a dramatic increase in break-ins and assaults of the elderly, while the resident is at home.

Australian politicians are at a loss to explain how public safety has decreased, after such monumental effort and expense was expended in ’successfully ridding Australian society of guns..’ You won’t see this on the American evening news or hear your governor or members of the State Assembly disseminating this information.

The Australian experience speaks for itself. Guns in the hands of honest citizens save lives and property and,
yes, gun-control laws affect only the law-abiding citizens.

Take note Americans, before it’s too late!
Will you be one of the sheep to turn yours in? WHY? You will need it.

Welcome

I have just started my blog and likely I will be doing just as the title of the blog suggests, griping about everything under the sun having to do with our government.  And so I welcome you to join me in the gripping and discussion, and in doing so, perhaps we will learn some things about our worldview and make it easier for others to understand us. 

I have been puzzled, upset and angry for several years about the battle that is being waged by those in the Federal Government against the our rights, liberties and freedoms.  It seems that the politicians, of either party, are after power over the citizenry of our nation, rather than in leading it by our founding guide, the U.S. Constitution.  

I am certain that any unconstitutional action by the executive, the legislative or the judicial branch of government is a blantant violation of the rights of the people, who are the voice, arms and legs of government.  The people are the government and the rulers of our nation and the servants of that government are those elected to lead the nation.  They are servants of the people and have their positions for one over-arching purpose and that purpose is to secure and protect the nation, from enemies outside and/or inside, that would endanger the rights, liberties and freedoms of the citizenry.  That is their responsiblity and the reason that our Federal Government exists.  They are not in those positions to violate the powers granted to government in the pursuit of grand sounding programs or creating lofty departments that go beyond the limits of the Constitution.
